I am joining in on the prayers for all the PIR 11/05 members suffering and worrying tonight. May Gods grace soothe you and may your prayers be answered quickly. Also praying for all members traveling, and preparing for their travels. May we all have a safe trip and return fulfilled with the love of each other, and our Sailors...Amen. (My family and I fly out of Sky Harbor Phoenix on Wednesday morning:)

Let me tell you a quick story 2ndmom...On Feb 17th best friend in the whole world of 35 years called me and told me she had liver cancer and had been given 3 months to live...if you get hit by a truck it will be a better way to die, the doctors told her...I just got off the phone to her...she is still alive, is in remission and her cancer is essentially gone...She is a walking miracle...she will have to do chemo for the rest of her life and in all liklihood her cancer may reoccur at times...God saved my friend...and everyday I get to talk to her I am reminded of just how lucky I am. So keep the faith!!

Jose, hopefully you hear something back. The not hearing anything is brutal. At least in my case, my son has been set back until he passes the run. You go from not wanting the phone call to hoping and praying for the I passed phone call because then he will be back on track.

LAURA: Yes i have heard from her. In fact, i heard from her about 15-20 min. ago. She might be held back. I have to wait between tomorrow and Thursday morning (which is when my flight was for. I was set to leave at 0755). I actually got off the phone with American Airlines to have my flight cancelled and changed to "Stand-by" status (meaning the moment i get a call from her, i'm on the next flight out to Chicago) So i gotta have my bags packed and ready to go. I just ask that you all please pray for my wife to do well, by His grace and glory.
LAURENSMOM: I'm terribly sorry about your brother. I can't even imagine what that pain's like. I have a younger brother of my own and he, like Ali, is my world and I don't know what i'd do if anyone of them died. Rest assured that you're in my prayers as well as your family. Regarding your comment, I'm so glad to know that your daughter gets along with my wife. Ali tells me that she gets along with some of the girls in the division. Sadly, she failed her run. She missed her time by 12 F*CKING SECONDS!!! REALLY?!?!? They're bustin her chops over 12 seconds?!?! God knows why it happened. Let's just keep praying for her and those who are having troubles in their PFA. I'm gonna pray a Rosary for Ali and the recruits that are havin trouble as well as the RDC's.
positive vibes and God Bless you all!!!!
