Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

LaurensMom: The recruits in that division make the design. Don't know if it is just one, or if there is input from several recruits. But they always do a great job! And it is very unique!

WTF..gotta love Sandi..can't wait to meet...BTW..does anyone know if our Sailors can't come home for Thanksgiving can they get Liberty..to go off base. Mine is A school in GL.

just got a letter! i love how the ONE question i asked in the entire letter i sent him was "when is your battlestations?!" ......he didn't answer it lol. ahhhhh i guess we'll all just have to be patient. we're pretty good at that, i'd say! i can't believe how patient this entire process has made me. In this crazy world of electronic instant gratification, it was a huge switch to have it all cut off! But look at us now! 3 days and 13 hours! woo hoo!

Lynne, www.mwrgl.com is where I found info thanks to jck and you have to navigate alittle but I did finally find it . gotta go time to close store see you all thurs, friday gives me goooooseee bumps.
