I have news to report you all about the good people in Navy For Moms...Amelia's daughter as you know is in the VA hospital and I am going to visit her on Thursday before the Meet and Greet and again over the weekend. In fact, I am going to get her a T-shirt and pass it around for everyone to sign so find me before the PIR to sign it if you can not be at the Meet and Greet. However that is not my news. I put out a call to our Sailor Rescue Line. It is a group I belong to that helps out sailors in trouble, they might be stranded or lost or broke or something. Anyway I put out a call for visitors for Halee and several have already responded. God provided the moms. Now Amelia will have another mom's eyes to be hers while her daughter is in the VA hospital. Today I am mighty proud to be a part of Navy For Moms.

There were no battlestations yesterday...so the ones today start tonight and calls would come tomorrow...the ones scheduled for tomorrow...calls will come Wednesday. Hold on to your hats though....calls don't start until this time and go from now until about 5PM

Okay Jose we are playing for the best outcome...but if something happens and it takes her a few days....do me a favor...when she calls just tell her like you did today not to worry. See she won't get another PIR and she will feel bad so no liberty. So just tell her you will come where she goes for A-school and see her the first weekend that it she has available...at first they don't let them go very far. She will remember your kindness forever.

thank you, Lynne
I'm sure you can relate to what's goin on. It just sucks that she's come this far and all for 12 seconds they're bustin her chops. REALLY??? WTF!!! But you know what, I know that, By God's grace and glory, she'll make it. I know she's gonna pass with flying colors and 12 seconds to spare. I would ask for continuous prayer.
When we spoke, i can tell she wanted to cry, but she held in her tears and when she was telling me she failed, i said to her "baby it's okay! I'm not mad at you." and she says to me "Are you sure?" i said "yea! i'm 100% sure i'm not mad cuz i know you're giving it all you've got. Don't worry about it, baby! I know you're gonna kick ass tomorrow. just keep makin me proud" So i'm sure those words were definitely helpful, but even then, i'm still scared for her. I really wish that God would take away her pain/struggle and give it to me and take away my strength and give it all to her.

Does anyone know for sure if 825 has Battlestations today or tomorrow? I'm thinking tomorrow since it's almost 2pm and no phone calls yet.

sandi, what i did was call them, granted it may be tough at times, and that worked out well too. Keep trying to give them a call and see how that goes.
