Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Wow again, miss so much being on the road. In Nebraska now hope to be in IL by late tonite and Great Lakes Wed!! I really can't thank you all enough for all your continued prayers for a safe trip and hope everyone is safe as we all make our way to GL.
Stephani, I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, I know those anxiety attacks are just horrible. I've had them and I can just imagine her feelings. My prayers go out to you and yours and hopefully you will be able to see her when you arrive for PIR.

Good morning everyone! So excited here..making a list of things to pack!! I never payed any attention to my sons Zune..I'm thinking I need to charge it..and think it has a cord? Does it charge via computer? My son also did our business Quick Books for us and boy have I needed his help on that!! The little things you take for granted.. Have a great day everyone!!

I am praying for him BANavyMOM you know I am. Keep us up to date...maybe he can do battlestations with my son in 363 if everything is cleared...lol!!!

Diana that is why I am going on Wednesday too...so i can rest my legs up..but now I am going to go to the VA hospital and see Amelias daughter

We will be at the M & G, we are flying in on Wednesday, so we will be ready to meet everyone. my husband seems to be feeling somewhat better, at least good enough to go. Hopefully he wont get a migraine on the flight, that is why we are going on Wednesday so if he needs the next to recoup. Well I have been stressing and trying to pack all day, not getting to far but need to be done tomorrow as I work all day on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Don't worry Andysmom since we are confessing our professions I am Clinical Social Worker...and I too teach people how to cope with anxeity and stress and am reaching my own peaks...lol!!! OMG I guess even we have our limits.

Navyarmymom...I will get you the info on lock and go. It is way back in the chat but I will add it to the things to bring to PIR or at least I hope Dianne will read this and post it because I think she posted it before...lol!!
