Lynne-I didn't see anything about Lock and Go. What is that? My son stays at Great Lakes, but I'm hoping he moves over right away. If he does, don't we get to spend some of the weekend with him? And if it is next week before he moves, what is Lock and Go?

LOL..KT. I went to work for 10 hours Friday and came home to 156 emails. Glad to hear about all the 300 divisions going through Battlestations and rocking it and all the "I'm a sailor" calls. My heart goes out to all the moms that got the bad phone calls. It actually puts me into tears. I am a strong Psych nurse but knowing what these mom's are going through kills me. My daughter and I have been gandering the Facebook recruit center pictures of graduation for the past weeks and we were bawling like babies...lol. Happy tears though. I can teach people how to decrease anxiety levels and how to properly deal with strss, but sheesh. I'm putting my teaching to the peak with myself . Glad I have all of you here with me and in 4 years we will be laughing at what we were worried about. Can't wait to see you all on Friday!

Okay you guys I am hearing nightmare stories about people not showing up for the Meet and Greet...now you wouldn't do that to little old me would you...I have little favors for you, I am dying to meet each of you, I have special nametags for you (have I laid the guilt on thick enough yet???) The guy at Anastasias bet me there would be less than 60 there and someone in chat just said they had 120 RSVP and only 30 showed up...don't make me use all my kleenex...crying in the corner at the Meet and Greet...I am counting on you!!! Be there or be square!!!!

My goodness I left my compters for a few hours and had to read through like 6 pages of posts. All of you guys are so great! I got a call from my soon to be sailor today. They do have Battlestations Tuesday and he was complaining about it because he has watch from 0000-0200 so he'll be going on about 3 hours of sleep it, He was excited though and did mention how sick everyone was in the division. He said that made the gas chamber extra fun because everyone had extra stuff to cough up... Gross!! It was great to hear from him though and he said he wasn't too worried about BS21 because it stresses teamwork and when it comes down to it all the guys in his division work really well together and get it done. So kylesmom, I'll be saying extra prayers your son can fight off whatever he's got till they get in there because they'll get each other through it.

Wow, I have been away for a few days and come back to so many posts to read through. My mom ended up in the hospital Wednesday night and got out Friday. It has been crazy. She had a reaction to a new medication. Then we went to her high school reunion (45 yrs). Her husband was supposed to go with her, but passed away very suddenly in July, so I became her date. It was a blast. Thanks for the information about the pictures. I had hoped to have pictures to bring home with us, but we will just have to wait. My son said it is going to be crazy trying to get them ordered that day. Does anyone know if we can call the photo lab and order them?

I can't believe it is almost here - we are so excited to see our son!!
