"don't know whether to scratch their watch or wind their butt"...Oh Jessica, I laughed so hard, really needed that. Still not happy about the PIR date and not being with all of you guys!!! It is what it is...

I agree with Betsy - wait for your letters. We know there is going to be a 12/22 PIR because someone received their letter with that date. We all know for a fact that the recruiters aren't always right. I wouldn't stress about a January PIR until you see it in writing. And don't stress out then. There is nothing you can do and the fact is, one of our kids could get sick and get pushed back to a later PIR. You never know what's going to happen.

Jessica - I totally agree. I was chuckling about it because in the call I got today he had to ask to spell her middle name. She is not too happy with him right, thinking he has forgotten her name, LOL. Wow, I bet your son didn't want to have to tell him that he put that stuff in the box! Poor guy!

The note first explained that he didn't put my youngest daughters name down because she is 11. Then he said that he is having fun but is tired. I'm curious on whether he is really having fun, or didn't know what else to say. It was kinda like what he would have written while away at summer camp, lol. Then he said that he loves all of us and to write back. It was cute.

Jessica, Mine said the first day was tough, but ok. He said it was kinda like high school, but more angry (he went to a private school, lol) He loves the camo and he wanted me to send pictures of our dogs. lol

Susan, Awww poor guy, was probably being watched while he wrote that. I bet he was nervous. ((hugs))

Penny, I would just wait until you get that letter. At this point, no one knows for sure what is the next date. ((hugs)) The music gets to me too.

Mary or Nancy, I think you should start a new group. Remember, when Kathy started the PIR 12/17, we weren't sure of that date either.

Ok you guys are going to love this! I got my form letter today. I skipped over everything and went to the graduation date then to the end where he wrote his note. My husband pointed out to me the area where they write what names are invited to PIR. First let me say that my husband, myself and my youngest daughter have one last name and D and my oldest daughter have another last name. When he listed his sister he listed her first name and my last name. She has the same last name as him and he wrote it wrong! So I had to write him a letter tonight to tell him that he will have to go change it. Can you imagine how bad he will get harassed for not writing his sister's name right! LOL

Oh dear! Ladies it has taken me quite a while to get through all of today's posts and I have to admit that I am a little weepy...I don't know if it is the music or the fact that it looks like we won't be in the same PIR. I haven't gotten my box or form letter yet, but I talked to the recruiter who gave me his ship and div. So I guess we are looking at a 12/22 PIR? I'm getting confused on who that is now? And I can't remember who got the call today, but I was having such difficulty reading through tears! I'm so happy for you! What would I do with out you guys! Penny
