Good Morning everyone!!! You all have me crying this morning.
No calls during the night about my dad. No News is Good News:)
I can't wait until Friday. I heard on the radio as I was waking up that the record cold was in Kentucky, NOT GL. That's good news. I am going to freeze:o I am working on packing a little as I get ready this morning, making piles, any way.
I am so excited for those of you who will get calls and am anxious to get home tonight to check the posts.
Have a wonderful day.
Wendi....praying for good news about your dad...this should be a totally happy news week for sure!
Lynne...as usual...you know just the right words to convey to these ladies who are about to receive their SAILORS! You are a wise woman!
Can't wait to see the I'm a Sailor posts today. Be sure to ask your sailor if all in his/her division passed and post! Some may not hear from their sailors today if they have watch, etc. But they should then call tomorrow. Since it looks like 4 divisions went through last night, calls may take longer to all come through...they could start at around 1 pm GL time (cells in bras!) and could go on for several hours. Post as you hear for the other awaiting ladies on here! HOOYAH and a Bravo Zulu to all!
Good Morning...all your thoughts below were mine this morning when I woke. And the first thought having saying TYJ is hi ladies...Thank you all for your support. Your being there helped make the time pass gentle. Though my time is not quite over that I have a son who is also at GL, BC. I belong in two groups. It will be just simply awesome to see my daughter on Friday. She's already told me that all she'll be doing is crying from seeing us and missing us. I cannot imagine what I will be doing and even better if my son is there at her Graduation as well. Thank you all. thank you all, thank you all.
Couldn't sleep...realizing the first group shold be done in about 5 hours or so... WOW! Thanks girls fro everything!!! You helped this momma get through this week.
Thinking of you Wendi. Hope you have received good updates concerning your Dad.
Lynn, that was so sweet. Thank you so much.
I am saying a prayer for safe travels on the road and in the air for all of us traveling in the next few days.
Can't wait to get those calls soon, Ladies. Woohoo!
In case things get crazy in the next few days, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you. I could have never imagined 6 months ago, when I joined this site, that I would become so fortunate to find so many wonderful friends to share this journey together. You have all made this so much easier than I could have imagined. One of the things that I have written to my recruit in my letters, is thank you. I have thanked him over and over because his choice has brought me so much happiness and wonderful friendships through all of you. I can't wait to meet you all and am so very grateful for all your tears, joys, comfort and support during our many talks. I look forward to a new chapter with our sailors.
I also want to thank JessicaB, diannep, Anti M and Lynn for all their help, support, kind words and advice. We could not have done it, if it weren't for all of you.
Cindy, your boy is so great at letter writing. That was awesome! Thanks for sharing. I hope he is feeling better by now. ((hugs))
I didn't get to sleep last night until 3a.m. I wonder if I will sleep at all between now and Friday. lol
Finally getting home and checking posts. Crazy day. Lit my Sentsy this morning. Wanted to do some packing tonight but had too much other running around to do. Once I get through tomorrow. I can focus a little better.
Lynne, thank you for your message. I have been feeling so proud of my girl today and have been imagining my "I'm a Sailor" call.
I also was on a mission for black boots. All I could find was brown. I am just going to wears my daughters and maybe I can find some while in Chicago.
Have been waiting on a call from my sis. My dad had a mild stroke last night, but appears to be fine. Supposed to do an MRI but haven't done it yet. This is supposed to be happy week, not worry about Dad week.
Did I hear right, Division 905 won the Captians cup????
