Betsy, I will be happy to take care of that!   :)   Ladies....SIX days and a wake up and we'll be seeing our sailors!   I know everyone is so excited!   Please, please stay safe in your travels and pray for great weather and beautiful skies for us all!

@ Lala && Kate, they probably won't let him go to his sister's PIR. However, he should talk to his RDC to see if it would be possible. In this case, it can't hurt to ask.

I do know that if a sailor is over at A school and they have a sibling graduating over on RTC, they must submit c chit for permission to go over to that side of the base. They are kept very strictly separated, so special permission is required.

Lala...he was made RCPO.  He said his chief said that if he worked real hard and got all parts of his job down, he may be given the privilege. I hope I will get to see him.  I see miss him, and yearn to see his smiling face ...going maaaaammmmmmmmm.  Sweet young man, with lots of ambition.  He said he had a few teeth taken out by the Navy and was going to be out for 3 days...we'll see.

If it is this cold here in South Florida, I cannot imagine what it is in Great Lakes.  I also lived up North in Massachusetts, though I loved living in Western Massachusetts I do not miss it one bit.  The only joy of going north is seeing my son and daughter who are both presently at GL, Bootcamp.  Yes such great emotions getting those letters.  I feel even more super connected to my son and daughter because I they are always on my mind.  I can well imagine the parents who have not received letter since I was once that parent.  No news is good news until you hear from them.  They doing well...just all going through bootcamp procedures.
