For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by twosilvatwins (ship 03 div 024) on December 3, 2010 at 11:11am: I resent it. This time I did mapquest and I just copied and pasted the whole mapquest with the written directions and map. I just replied to the reply I got so they could see that the itinerary for the flight was still attached. I went to FB this morning and I'm asking them for help on there to see if they can give me a fax or number to call....

Comment by NC_Susan on December 3, 2010 at 8:16am: twosilvasons - I did the same as Lori, except I did mapquest. The written directions and the map was included. I received an email yesterday saying it was ok. I would re-send with the written directions included.

Wendi - I am also wondering if they are doing gas chambers today.

I got a message that they received and never heard that there was an issue so I expect everything is in order. I sent a copy with my SR and then gave him the scheduling office email of receipt at Thanksgiving.

Comment by kathy on December 3, 2010 at 2:29am: Hi jacquec, I typed in questionaires in the search window and it took me to a Form Letters forum (2009). About 4 discussions from the bottom, I found the questionaires under "okay I finally found what I was looking for. . . "

I know there is an easier way to do this and I will figure it out, but in the meantime. . . I tried to download and attach to this message. Did not quite work. I will keep trying!
