TysMom - My son told me last week that he will be able to leave right after graduation. I think this is the way it is happening. I would ask your son then next time you talk to him for the specifics. Susan

In reading through the thread I see JessicaB posted tips on our trip. I have made our room reservations but only did so for one night. My son will return home with us after graduation, take a five day leave and then will fly out to school. How soon AFTER graduation are they free to leave? Any comments will be appreciated!

Welcome to all the newest N4Ms! Good Morning - hard to believe we are only 16 days away - its the last day of November. Moving into December makes PIR countdown that much more of a reality!

Kathy you need to write to your son and make sure that these people are on his guest list...he can have a maximum of four guarunteed...the rest have to wait until the invited guests are in...however that shouldn't be a problem...

So, I am glad I found this thread. My son will be graduating on 12/17 and he is in ship 04 div 019. My husband will be going to graduation. We can't afford to fly everyone to graduation, but my son has requested and been given leave, so he will be home for a few days before going off to A school. My brother just informed me that he and my niece will try to get to graduation, too. They live in MInnesota and are within driving distance. However, it just occured to me that my son will have to request passes for them, too, right? I was thrilled that my brother would do this for our son especially since I cannot be there. Oh, thank you for the checklist, Jessica! My husband works best with lists and it will be very helpful.

Haven't been able to be on much over the weekend. We have been having phone line issues when it rains so no phone or internet for the past 2 weekends.

Was having a text conversation with H's boyfriend yesterday...he was giving me his flight info and asked if he could ride with us to the airport, and asked if I remembered where he lives. He was talking like we were leaving in a few days rather than a few weeks. He is very anxious to see his girl. I am too. I want to start packing and getting ready to go.
