Rank in the Navy would be for Officers.

Comment by Lyrics on October 28, 2014 at 5:08pm

Ugh, why can't all the Services uses the same terminology, lol.  For Army, rating is MOS, rate is paygrade, and idk what Navy calls rank!

Comment by CatMom509 on October 28, 2014 at 4:24pm

Lyrics,

To clarify, Rating is their job, IT (Information Systems Technician), MM (Machinist Mate), etc...  Rate is their pay rate of E-1, E-2, E-3, etc...

Thanks diannep. Do we know how many per division?

Comment by diannep on October 28, 2014 at 3:42pm

Your division info is now posted on the RTC website:

TG 5 - 11 Divisions (039-046, 803 and 905-906) Graduate Friday, December 12, 2014. Each recruit will be permitted 4 guests

Comment by diannep on October 28, 2014 at 3:30pm

xelamom:  They most likely will fly out on Sat. after PIR.  Occasionally they don't go until Sunday if flights are full.  They won't know for sure until right before PIR when their orders/flights are issued.

ktsmom96 - I did the same yesterday and it was faster. My husband is a member of the group too.

Comment by xelamom on October 28, 2014 at 12:34pm

Taxmom, my son is nuke too and going to A school in  SC. It'd be nice if we could find out if they get any time off before A school or if they fly to Charleston right after PIR.

I've joined the FB group for PIR 12-12-14. Have you joined yet?
