~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security)
(Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips)
This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way.
The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for your personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Did anyone receive a BattleStations date from their SR over the weekend? If so, please private message it to me. So far, I only have one date for a set of brother divisions. Remember, we cannot post here on the site, but can private message it. Thanks! Not sure they will start this week since BattleStations ship is under maintenance right now. They may do them all next week.
Good Morning!
I bought the sailor nutcracker..printed a picture of it on my letter to show my son...it is really cute. I'm going to get 2 more for my other kids, just have to figure out what "job" .
ADDED these to your PAGE section:
Hi everyone - went to Target yesterday - they have a cute "Navy guy" Nutcracker! He is wearing the white "dixie cup" style hat.....really cute. They have all kinds of nutcrackers in various outfits.
Thank you Mommamac! The prayer is more than enough, thank you for doing that :) I have been applying daily to new jobs and temp jobs hoping more work will come of it, only time will tell. I am sooo excited to see my son at his PIR that I will not give up on working and saving until the absolute last minute :) It will all work out, I feel so confident that I will get to see him. I hope things work out for you too, I as well will keep you in prayer for work and extra money. I already feel so blessed and I just know we CAN DO THIS!!!! We are strong NAVY MOMS!!!! lol. Hugs to ya
That is wonderful, SouthCarolinaMom!
Good Morning all!
Hello everyone! I am sooo excited about my sons PIR coming up on the 21st that its almost 2am and Im still awake! Lol. I wanted to take the time to tell you all that I am so BLESSED to have this website to find out information and be able to ask my silly and sometimes important questions, but most of all to have "met" some REALLY GREAT moms (and dads, etc) to talk to who understand what Im feeling. Its so nice to know others are in this with me, supporting me. I am having a hard time right now and another N4M mom asked for some financial support for gas to get to my sons PIR and absolute strangers (n4m moms) have donated gas cards to me so I can go see my SONs CEREMONY on the 21st. I am SO THANKFUL, I just cant believe it. Thank you everyone for donating and praying for me and giving me info that I needed. I dont know what I would have done with out this site...especially those first couple weeks when I hadnt heard from him yet, it was so nice to know what to expect and when the box, letters and calls would be expected. THANK YOU for all you guys do! Big hugs to you all. Ok, thats enough for the mushy stuff today lol. Please keep the prayers up for me to get more work over the next week and half so I can raise the rest of the money I need to get there to see my son graduate. Thanks! :) May God bless you all, and our troops.
Good Morning All!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks Mommamac. My SR has been told verbally but I don't think he's gotten any official paperwork. I'll feel a little better once he does.
