This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During…Continue

Thank you, Battlebuddy and Life is Peachy for the information.  My heart sank when I read the news.

Hi all.

Battlebuddy, I just came here to see if anyone had posted the news.

Below is the link to the funeral home's website.  I'm encouraging everyone to stop and leave a message for the family, even if just a simply Hooyah.  I just know these messages will have a lot of meaning for them and may help ease their pain during this most difficult time.

KODY JAMES FARAGHER To leave a message for the family, click on 'Condolences & Tributes' then 'Condolences.'

God speed!

Please keep the Faragher family in your constant prayers. Their son graduated with us on 2/11/11 and was in Div. 069 with my son and several others on here. Kody passed on 10/5/11 and they are in the process of making arrangements. He collapsed while doing the PFA out in San Diego.  Such a tragedy to loose one of our Sailors at such a young age. My heart just bleeds thinking what they are going through. </3

Wow...today is our Anniversary.......8 months since we left Boot Camp! Wow...it feels like Boot camp was easy right now....Japan is really far away...but he loves it there.....

That sounds like a lot of fun battlebuddy my son would love to be stationed in Japan or at least visit there.   Australia sounds great too.  My wife and I are hoping he is in Hawaii good place for a second honeymoon LOL.   Son still has estimated 1-½ years remaining  in the training pipeline at the current rate they are cranking out nukes.

Hello all, my son starts Nuclear Power School this Thursday.  I would like to hear what your sailors are all doing now.

I agree battlebuddy, I sure miss the daily dose of love and support from this group/Navy family.  Boot camp was an anxious, uncertain and trying time (and I'm referring to us, Lol!) I guess we all learn to adapt to this new way of Navy life for our children.  Still, we all have moments when we miss them terribly and wish we could put our arms around them. {{Hugs}} to you....I know your guy has been away for a long time.
