FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just got off the.phone with my SR, he said his.div. did well on this test so the chief let them call home, he said his schedule time to call is Monday so hopefully I will heat from him again :) found out some good info he is allowed to live of base when he is.at A school cause he.is.married and has a child :) and he is leaving for pensacola A school on the 16th of Feb. So happy to hear his voice, he is still the same. Goofy as ever lol ( wouldn't want to change.that for anything) he says since.they did well on this test they get a div. Flag and he is doing great and loves bootcamp. So HAPPY!!!!

yes himmiemom, I was looking for profile pics.  Thank you William for the info.  I will give it a try!  This is yet one more time I miss my SR...he was my IT guy LOL. It is so nice to have a place where we all know how each other feels...I am so grateful for the N4Ms

33 days and counting!  I'm with you mama.....can't wait for weekend to end and Thursday (my mail day) to get here! LOL!

I watched the N4M video on YouTube last night....funny that "Mom" was the Navy's biggest adversary....the commercial they came up with IS beautiful from a parents perspective.

Good morning ladies! I've noticed too about the facebook page being against navy for moms. I just keep my mouth shut on that topic when I'm on there. However, I do think it's dumb that they don't allow us posting this site!
