I just went to youtube.com and watched some of the videos....at the end of the commercial, at the bottom of the page it says: Paid for by the US Navy....thats funny I tried to tell somebody on facebook about navy4moms, and they deleted it, said that n4m was not a navy affliated sponsor....on the navy recruit command page....please try to shed some light on this for me

I heard from my recruit tonight Ship 09 Div 071 first he called home and talked to his mom, then he called me at the office and we spoke for 8-1/2 minutes then he asked my for his recruiter's phone number and I assume gave him a call.  He did say his phone card was in his locker, so maybe he either borrowed one or something.

We sent him the 700 minutes Verizon call from Costco for $20.  They are already activated when you buy it.

Mindy: you can go to images.google.com and type in the name of something, and it brings up a lot of photos.  When you see one you like click the right mouse button and then click on Save image as... and save it onto your PC.  Then you can use it as your profile photo.

Mikki, it's so funny about the video. I have been watching videos about boot camp and graduation almost every day. I'm so eager to see what my husband looks like already. Ugh! 2/11 needs to come faster lmao.

I'm really not sure what video my husband was talking about.

future sailors mom....I am so glad you got to talk to your SR.  It was awesome that another SR lent SR their phone card.  That is what makes a good division.  My SR has given band aids and stamps to other SR and it makes me feel good knowing that he is "sharing" .  They are all in the same situation and all missing home.

futuresailor's mom.....I am soooo glad you got to talk to your SR!!!!  I have been playing that same scenario in my head since my SR left for BC!!!  I was panicked everytime I left my phone for a minute!  Scared I would miss his call!  It was so wonderful today to hear his voice!  It seems like forever since we dropped him off!  I am glad they are on the downside on their journey!  Can't wait to see them all on 2-11-11!  The smile has not left my face since this afternoon!

Keep your spirits up Heather and others of 073.....your calls will come soon I'm sure!  I'll say a few prayers and keep my fingers crossed for you.
