5 weeks from today we all get to see our loved ones!! :)

Congrats to everyone getting calls and letters. I am so happy for you. I know when those of us got them the other day, we talked about it. I felt bad writing about him and things he said, when others hadn't heard from their own SR's. Hopefully those who haven't heard anything yet, will very soon.

Thanks to all of you ladies here for all the info you've shared about bc and the things some of us didn't know. I'll keep reading all the posts everyday to learn even more. I'm so glad this site exists!!

5 more weeks!! Can't wait!

Aww, that's awesome Mikki! My husband lost almost 13 pounds I think he said. He was thin when he went, he's going to be a toothpick when he's done lol. And I agree about this site, it's fantastic! My husband said they watched a video about N4M's? Anyone elses say that? Thought it was strange lol.

JUST GOT A PHONE CALL!!!!!! I am so thrilled.  A nice long chat with my son. and to make it even better, it was while I was out spending the day with my older son. Way to make a mom haphaphappy!  I was standing at the head of the line at the post office (mailing a yellow scarf I made for Mattsmom) when the call came in. Had to run out of the noisy line and to the PO Box area so I could talk uninterrupted. He passed the PT, Written & swim test (yea). His boots are nicely broken in so i can quit sending him the bandaids. They will probably do Battle Stations next week (cool!). Food is good, he is gaining weight and building muscles. They got fitted for the white and blue dress uniforms, are wearing BDUs and have their daily uniforms (blk pants khaki shirts).

Oh such a good phone call. yea!
