My SR told me that she made Mail PO. So she will be the one getting and delivering the mail for her DIV. I was so glad to talk to her today. I had a million questions I was going to ask her when she called and when I did get the call I forgot everything. She did get sick after the flumist and was SIQ for 2 days. She is as ready for PIR as we are. She wants to see everyone.

My daughter in law got a letter today, but none for me and no phone call. were div 069 so, maybe tomorrow. But, i guess my son will call his wife (who lives with me) while Im at work, so i dont really expect to talk to him. Im so disappointed that I didnt get a letter too. but, I did get a little info from her. He had his wisdom teeth pulled on the 26th and it hurt. the novocaine wore off before the last tooth was out. He also said it really started hurting on the 29th. Food was good, he has made friends and sounds upbeat.

Yea for everyone on 067 & 068!  It was so exciting to see the "847" area code on my phone, I picked up and called her name.....a great moment.  I spoke with her about 10 minutes, then her sister wanted to talk to her, so they talked for about 10 minutes.  When she was handing me the phone back, I heard that iPhone "click" noise and she was gone!!!  OMG, we hung up on her during the hand over.  Luckily, she called back in about 3 minutes and said, "What happened?" LOL!  I waited what seems a lifetime for this call, and I hang up on her!  I can laugh now.........

My girl called me today! HOORAH 067!!! It was the best 37 minutes 14 seconds of my life! I feel amazing! She is doing great! Doesn't regret a single thing. Hoping you all get to have this amazing feeling soon too!

She arrived at Boot Camp on 12/7 and they are on only on day 2-5. FYI

Ok bittersweet! He called.... His gf! But I spoke with her she said that he sounded good that she thinks his voice got deeper? She said that he lost or misplaced his wallet and the chief found it.... Made him memorize the last 4 digets and that is how many flutter kicks he has to complete before PIR!!! He told her that on Christmas they had to do a 2 mile crawl in formation in the snow! She said he was supposed to have 20 min but after almost ten he had to get off and he told her he was going to call me, but he hasent yet.

momofms:  Thanks!  I went right to the mailbox after the call with a RahRah letter, and am writing another one right now to send tomorrow - I printed a mapquest page of the closest Chipotle location to the GL base (3.4 miles, to be exact!), and that ought to keep him encouraged - HA!   (his FAVORITE food is their burritos).  He is usually a really determined and tough kid, so I'm thinking this is temporary too, and once he gets over the sick part, he'll bounce back mentally.  (and then I will too, ha! )
