Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My call was 2 minutes,, The RDC was yelling LOUD to lets go!!!  UGH !!!!!!

So happy for all of you!!! My heart stopped when I saw calls comming in for my div called the whole family and his gf told them what ask and tell him I love him just in case they get the call.

804 is calling get to your phones ladies my son called had 3 minutes hung up if they answered a question right that got to call back for 15 minutes he is on the phone iwth his girlfriend who is sitting on my couch oh thank you God I needed to hear him

804 * 804 * 804  I GOT A CALL!!!  17 minutes and 37 seconds!!!  Had nothing but good things to say!!  Said he had to go as they had to report for dinner.  Oh I cannot express how happy I am to have heard his voice!  I really wasn't expecting a call until next week.  I hope the rest of you get calls very soon!!!  YIPPIE!!!!!!

Vinsmom....that is awesome...hope you are not driving while doing the happy dance....lol...I love hearing all these stories, most of the time they make me laugh and sometimes they make me cry...but overall navy4moms is the best thing for me and all of us....I feel sorry for the moms that have not yet found this website, all the fun and info they are missing out on....love all my n4m family
