This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During…Continue

Sounds like Ship 9 Div 70 has got it figured out. Working as a team seems to be the ticket. Hope all the other Div get it pulled together as well. Yeah for Div 70! Praying ship 9/div 67 is on the GOOD list today!!

Don't think there is any rhyme or reason to the phone calls...what makes sense to us, obviously does not fit into the RTC timeline...so we as moms, hold our phones close as to not miss that precious call.

What div. is he in?
Comment by RobinSHIP11,DIV063 on January 2, 2011 at 1:29pm

Oh okay.  I'll keep my phone close anyway.

My SR called me xmas day and also said he would call me the 27th, in which he did but immediately said "Can I call you right back?".  I said sure! .... and I never heard from him again.  He also said during the xmas call he would be calling on the 30th.  But he didn't.  Just wonder if his div. got in some kind of trouble or something?

I read on fb last night that a couple of moms from div 69 got "reward calls" yesterday. And another mom said her SR wroted that Sunday would be the day for calls..but from what Div and time, I have no idea....probably just wishful thinking..

Are we supposed to be maybe getting phone calls today?
Comment by himmiemom on January 2, 2011 at 1:08pm

Okay, I go to bed at 1am and log onto N4M and find that I missed a night of fun.  Sounds like alot of you guys were up last night.

Lexsmom...I hope you are feeling better today.  My department at the hospital is being knocked down by a stomach bug also.

So now we have moved on from mail vibes for some to phone vibes?????  I have also been keeping my cell phone attatched to me(when I don't loose it) and under my pillow on vibrate and loud.  Have some of you been getting calls late at night?  What have some of the times been.  I figure it would be before 9pm because I think that is when it is "lights out" for our SR.

fondzysgrl....CONGRATULATINS...If only the average person knew what families of loved ones in the service give up for Our Country.  May you have many more celebrations where you will be together.

ARWEN, Love the phone, it is GREAT.

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on January 2, 2011 at 12:45pm

I know you guys are wearing scarves to recognize each other but it seems many of you are wearing my PIR ribbons as well and I have had some requests to post the info again. They do make a great keepsake that can go in a frame with a picture of your sailor or in a scrapbook. I guess the info about the PIR ribbons gets lost in the pages pretty quickly. I hand make every ribbon. The ribbons are to wear to PIR and/or the
meet and greet. They are about
5 inches tall depending on the length of the name and look much better
in person. If you would like more info or to order click on my name and
send me a friend request. Thanks, LaLa
