Himmie i understand about the changes.   I have changed some but so have his two siblings.  My youngest son now has a room to his self.  One day I was in the room talking to him,  something I used to do often with his older brother, he looked up at me and said "are you going to be in here much longer because this is (he stated his name) time, it used to be my brothers and mine time, but now its just my time"  They too used to talk and laugh before going to bed.  He  has been sleeping in his brothers bed last several nights.  My daughter who is not very touchy feely has been giving me more hugs.  Heck even the dog has changed.  She is very quiet on the days that my husand and I both work and kids are gone.   she always had someone with her during the now that he is at BC she is alone two days a week during the day..

So happy that everyone is getting letters!  The mail dance that send2herb suggested definitely worked, so do you know a phone dance? My daughter also apparently got all her mail at once.  She said that she was so excited to get so many letters & cards and her shipmates kept asking how many she got.  At the end she said keep the mail coming....its the least I can do.

tackijacky....keep the faith, yours will be here soon, hopefully tomorrow.

we got letters too.....I have read them so many times already, wearing the paper out :)  He said he is doing fine and they are feeding him well but the food is bland!  He said there are some guys that aren't taking the instructions well so they are "getting their asses kicked". He also apologized for back talking to us when we asked him to do chores and feels bad that he disrespected us!  I didn't think he was disrespectful!!!  I cried happy tears and sad tears....I miss him so much!!!!

Theresa, 16 letters???? WOW way to go mom!!!!!

Sorry I made some of you cry reading my comment.  I think it is time maybe for her to go back to school so I can stop crying!!!!!

One more day for mail and than a new week starts again.  I heard that they can only write on Sunday's, so maybe more mail next week for all.

Anyone got plans for New Years Eve????

Aww, look at everyone so happy to hear from their SR's! I know I definitely was. Theresa, yours is going to be able to have a 50 minute long phone call? That's fantastic! I sure wish mine will get a long phone call soon lol, I better send another calling card!

Tackijacky, I'm sure you'll get a letter soon. I was down and out for not receiving for a while and I got my first one today! But now I want another one lol.

It seems to be ship 09 Div 069's turn doing the happy dance and the mailbox today! We got 4 letters today! 2 for my daughter in law (she lives with me) and two for me. One of my letters had a separate letter each for his brother and his Nana. He wrote on Dec 25th and said that there wasnt much time to write, he missed us, wanted hugs to all and hope we had a great holiday. And he promises to write more soon. I'm waiting form my DIL to come home to see if her letters have more news (I doubt it tho, my son is the quiet type). yippee!
