Frazcom21- Well maybe you can help me out with the DEERS info. Where do I take the paperwork without having to wait on his recruiters?

Gotta question.... in our 09/069 group, two families finally got letters (the first ones from this div). one said that out of the 75 remaining SR, 13 were in 'ib medical'. What does that mean? my son probably has to have his wisdom teeth out, so he might be one of the 13. Are they stuck in medical or are they out doing stuff with the rest of the group or.....? thanks!

tls - thanks! I talked to his dad (ret. navy) and said if tims letters say 073 then thats what it is and there must have been a change after they sent out the formal address letters....

We got a letter today FINALLY...very short...not dated...and to his Step Dad. OMG.....I don't even care....I got a letter and he sounds homesick. :(  He said that he gets 10 minutes to shower and 15 minutes to eat and the food is "pretty good" but not as good as home. He says they get mail every night, but they can't read in the rack, so I am thinking he is behind on reading all the letters mom has sent...pretty basic..he is not a writer...neither am I, but I am learning......he even mentioned "yes I know my handwriting still sucks... Says he misses home and can't wait till Feb. to see us....  :-)

Comment by diannep on December 30, 2010 at 4:18pm
Heather, hopefully they will make it to him, but do you know which one is correct?  They do try to find the recruits when it comes to mail, so I think he is getting them.
