This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During…Continue

Ok got ahold of the sales dept and he is going to work on it today, he said usually it takes 24 hours to get it all worked out BUT he said he will try and get it to me today!

Once he gets that info to me then we can start booking... he said the way it works is you call in directly yourself to the hotel and book it under the group name so they know you are part of that discount.  I used the name "PIR 2/11" as our booking name... so lots of fingers crossed we get a good discount!!!  I also listed the prices below of what they are with just the Graduation discount....

Be sure to let me know if I forgot you, on that list,,,

MOM OF MS 72---- i think I left your name off... i just saw my list.. sorry  :)

Mamawalrus,

thanks so much again for doing this, you are so  on tp of it!.  Would you pls change mine to one 1 bedroom suite, and one studio (2 separate rooms).     Also - do you need to know how many nights for each, at this time, or will we just each call the reservations desk to confirm and give our CC numbers?

Comment by mamawalrus on December 21, 2010 at 1:24pm

ok so the suite is 79.00-an open floor plan with queen bed and sofa sleeper-this is 79.00

1 bedroom has private room and not open floor plan-99.00

2 bedroom has private rooms,,,134.00

These are  graduation discounts and I will get back to you on the group discounts

All rooms are suites, FULL kitchens with living room area!!!!

Free shuttle and FULL breakfast served, NO contintental!

Mama - I think the idea to check into a private room at Residence is brilliant! Great thought ame7! !
Comment by tackijacky on December 21, 2010 at 12:47pm

@mama....are all their rooms suites? I really just need two beds

Comment by ame7 on December 21, 2010 at 12:46pm

mama....Since I have not been through this before, Its hard to give an opinion, but I say go with your gut.  If you feel the Ramada has too many negative reviews, then perhaps the Residence can offer something?  Since you are booking a block of rooms, they may be able to offer you a meeting room,,,and even some refreshments.  It wouldnt hurt to ask.  I used to make arrangements for work and a lot of times if you reserve rooms, they have deeply discounted/complimentary meeting rooms.  Either way, I cant wait to meet other Navy Moms!

tack@ I am coordingating the hotel at Residence Inn to get a discount,, let me know????

Meet and Greet?? well we started it at Ramada and it should be on your event page near group tab.  But still keep reading negativve reviews on it,,, espec that its open to NON navy people and its crowded!!  I ws told to book it at Anastasias instead,,, we could get private room and hve dinner there.. grant it Ramada has the Free appetiziers.  So as a GROUP OF 2/1/11, lets decided this together....PLEASE any inputs??

I too am extremly excited, and just want to get there!!!!!  :)
