What does on"hold" mean. I was under the impression that the pre-buds guys stay in GL. Will they have to report dircectly or will they get overnights? Is there a standard? Just luck of the draw? or do we wait and see?

Not a good day :(.

BB - Write to the one you got most recently. It will find it's way to them either way, eventually. But write to the one you got most recently. As said before - NOT all sailors to GL are G&G. Mine was not. He was on hold for about a week at Basic.

Ok I am thinking Residence Inn?  Does anyone know for sure if they are attending PIR and if they would like to book here as well????

I can see if we can get a discount for a set number of rooms.  Thanks

Diannep - have you heard anything about the Spring Hill Suites in Waukegan?  It is rated #1 in Waukegan for hotels and has a pool, which out 10 YO would love.  http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g36854-d1100114-Reviews-Spr...

Got my sons address ship 003 Div 084 but no PIR date so not sure if it will be 2/11 or 2/18. Anyone else same ship and div? A little overwhelmed by all of this but he is doing what he wants. We never got a call. I think he forgot to write the numbers down and did not know.

Woo Hoo! FINALLY got my letter.

He said "Hi family - I miss you all.  Only have 3 minutes to write.  Bootcamp is difficult, but it is getting better.  We are on hold now for five days.  Now on P2 day.  (DOES THAT MEAN PROCESSING DAY 2??)  Bootcamp is difficult but getting better.  I will have my TSSC interview soon.  Please write.  Tell McKenna I miss her - and goof!"

So, I assume TSSC is his security clearance?  Do any moms know anything about that??  If so, could you email me at dorrio68@gmail.com ?  I have a few questions.  Thanks!!
