So if my son is going to A school at GL he will be a grad and go?
We are just trying to find out how much time we will have with him.

Pink is the winner! :D I'll put it as a title on the discussion part so everyone knows when they visit this group. so It wont be lost within our future comments :)

bright pink/hot pink is good, very common scarf color, but if for some reason your shopping area doesn't carry that shade pink but carry light pink, pick that so you wont have to go out of your way for a scarf  :)

So is it pink scarf? lol...sorry, didn't check the web for 2 days a little late here!

...oh, and then you walk out of PIR Hall with them.  Many return to their ships to get pictures and you all decide where to meet them when they come back (usually in front of NEX).  Those of you who have GradNGos to GL will have to say goodbye to your sailors after PIR for 3-5 hours until they move over there.  Then they will use their phone card to call you to pick them up from A School base (right next door to RTC).  You then may have them for the whole weekend, nights included.

EagleMom:  Everyone has their own way to meet up with sailors when liberty is calleed.  Remember, you will be sitting right in front of your division.  Some families just run out of the bleachers and head into the crowd of sailors....others stand and wait for the sailor to find them.  But somehow, all find one another!  So don't worry.  You'll get there! Just take pictures quickly as they will hurry you out of PIR Hall after about 10 minutes.

i'm in with the pink scarf and name tag idea!

woohoo- we're halfway there!

Ok- I have a really dumb question!

After PIR how do we know when and where to meet up with our sailors?

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but I had a terrible dream that we were all there and couldnt find our sailors!

Ok..I followed the scarf thread for awhile then had to make dinner...so was there ever any consensus?  Also, our Ship 02 Div 913 page only has 5 members so far, so if anyone reading this is looking for others from the same division, friend request me and I'll help get you connected.

These purses are by an Army mom/wife named Tracey. I don't know of any other way to see the pix. Here's the model I chose:
