bsmom, use the most recent address. Sometimes they move around after they fill out the form letter. Whatever he is writing as his return address should be the most updated, correct address.

I got my second letter too! It was short and sweet. Has anyone's son/daughter asked for the lyrics to the song Somkey Joe's Cafe? He said he wants me to send it to him and he will explain at PIR. That was strange. But I am doing as he asked. Then he said he had received 3 of my 11 letters and to keep them coming. He also wants jokes and articles. I sent those in most of my letters will continue to do so. Said all was well and the postal service S**Ks. LOL

Here's to all the moms out there and getting their letters soon!!!!!

So glad to hear some posts from Moms who received letters from ship 3 div 080.  That's the same as my son...however, we still have not received any letters yet....I am truly the mail man stalker....hoping to get something today.  We do live in slower lower Delaware, so who knows.  Really, really need to hear something from him, at this point thinking about him and not knowing how he's doing is consuming 100% of my brain!!!

RenoMom, your son is in my sons division. I also got a letter today! My son has not mentioned any names, However, he's been nicknamed "California" because he's the only one from California! Sounds like they have been working on " ONE TEAM ONE FIGHT".  and doing well.

I second Annie's recommendation for Residence Inn.  We stayed at the GL (actually Waukegan) one...it is very nice and roomy.  Had a 2-bedroom....2 bath...pullout in living room.  Free hot buffet breakfast each day too.  Convenient to base and WalMart center/restaurants.  PIR Shuttle.

Finally received letters today!!  Better than Christmas has ever been....big question, though...  I have received an address from the recruiter first, then another in his form letter home, now i notice a 3rd different one on the envelope my letters were sent in.  Which one is the quickest way to him??
