day 22 got a shot letter today not much info... RCT writes:

Hey Mom,

I Love you guys, I miss you guys a lot.  I hope you guys got my first letter and wish everything is going well at home.  If you can, would you send a few pictures?  How are things at home?  I miss you guys and the dogs and cat sleeping with me.  How are the animals?  Can you let my brother and friend know that I miss them.  How are things at Grandmas?  How are things with you and Dad?

Love you guys.

I am so glad for the letter.. but now I am worried... I have sent three or four letters so far with pictures.  I have the right address so hopefully they just passed in the mail.  I hope everyone gets some mail soon.

Hugs,

I did hear from my son Monday night..I knew it was him when the phone rang at 10:30, then my husband was running through the house screaming "get on the phone your boy is calling!" haha..it was so good to hear his voice.  He needed addresses and info for the background check.  I asked what he did each day and he said he goes to bed at 9:30 and up at 5:30 and they get breakfast and then come back to organize thier bunk and things.  He said he is so organized that they made him the unit lead to ensure the bunks etc are ready each day.  He said he has gotten privledges for being so organized...we all laughed..his room was never organized although I fought with him about it constantly.  He sounded so happy and said he LOVED it.  It just lifted away alot of anxiety I felt...I miss him terribly but I feel like he is in a great place and proudly standing on his own 2 feet..

Hi Everyone! Haven't gotten a letter yet either. It's OK though. I know I'll get one eventually and like I've heard many times...no news is good news. I feel so at peace with the whole thing thank God.

Cathy22 - We are staying at the Residence Inn. We've stayed at others before and have always been happy with our accomodations. They do have suites, one bedrooms and two bedroom units. The two bedrooms have 2 bathrooms too! I think we got the price of $134 for a 2 bedroom. The nice thing about other Residence Inns that we've stayed (and this one sounds the same) is they're just like a small apartment with fridge, dishes and stoves. It's nice not to have to eat every meal out and they usually have a good complimentary breakfast too. Both of those things can save a family a lot of money.

Shannon kell - I wonder if the skinny donut was a churro. That's kind of what they're like and they are the best thing ever!! :-)

Be at peace moms, dads, spouses, brothers, sisters, girfriends, boyfriends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Our loved ones are in good hands!
