Patiently waiting for letter....hoping he at least writes to his sisters, they are 12 and 8 and miss him so much!  Sure could of used his help last night taking the Christmas tree down....smarty pants put ornaments way on top of 10" tree and Im not exactly the tallest person I know he is probably wondering how I ever got them down! After I cried I had to laugh to myself.  3 weeks ago today he left:(

Heard from my sailor girl yesterday she needed more addresses for her Job clearance, she was frustrated that they were taking so long in P days and thought that all the info they needed they obtained over the last 3 months of processing with her recruiter.

She stated they were beginning day 1-1 yesterday and were still on for PIR 02/18. So I don't know if that changed after I spoke with her.God Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

All I can do is pray at this point, is there anything else!!!

We received our first "real" letter from my son yesterday.  It has felt like we have not had contact with him in forever but in all actuality the letter took just 9 days to get to us.  Guess that really isn't too bad considering he wrote the letter Christmas day and then there was the New Year's holiday in there too.  It's just when you are waiting for that contact each day of waiting feels like a week!

Here's hoping letters are delivered today to those of you still waiting!
