Aren't we all planning on meeting at the meet & greet on Thursday night? I will be staying at the Ramada Inn I believe. I am trying to work out some things with family. Thought it would be easier if we all stayed together and stayed close to everything else. :)

DebBee- I believe you are correct. I am shocked they are still on schedule to PIR on the 18th though. Not complaining at all glad it's a week earlier than I originally thought it to be counting the weeks and days. I guess thy can push them through.
With my son gone the side of the couch cushion is starting to form back to its original shape. YAY!!! LOL

Woo Hoo!!! I got a call on New Years Day! Woke me up too. First time I jumped to answer the phone at 8am on the day after. I couldn't stop crying. He just laughed at me. I kept throwing questions out at him and he yelled at me to stop and said he was fine and just wanted to know how I was doing. I told I was great now!!! He did tell me his PIR date is 2/18 and he flies out for Nuke School on the 23rd asked if I would go with him. LOL He thinks I can pick up and go wherever he is going. Nice to know he wants his old momma around. (For now) The call lasted a whopping 3 min & 24sec. But it was the greatest 3min & 24 sec so far this year!!! Hope all you moms get calls soon. I haven't gotten any letters yet, he has only received 3 of mine so far. Before he hung up he said to send him more more more letters!!!! I guess I can write twice a day... LOL

Thanks Lala for the info. We're bringing 1 extra for the brother, don't want him to stay out while we're all in there.

Yes, Lala...Miami can be a scary city for sure!  Luckily we live in a nice part of it and enjoy it very much (southern part).  In fact, my city name is not even Miami anymore since our little area incorporated...I was very glad to get rid of the Miami name.  HAA!  Hope your new computer arrives soon!

There aren't actually tickets for PIR. Your Sr will put 4 names on the list. If you have kids going who are 12 or younger they don't need to be on the list to get in. You can take more than 4 people to PIR and usually they don't even have to wait to go in. If it is a very large PIR group then the extra guests may have to wait in the visiters center until everyone else gets in. I have never heard of anyone who was not able to get in. When my daughter had PIR in July there were 13 divisions graduating. We took 4 extra people and no one had to wait. They all went in with us at 7 am.

Kathy Dee, the questionnaires are in a "Discussion Group" within this group. Just above the box where you type your comments here, see how there are 3 or 4 discussions listed? Click "View All" and then look for the discussion called "Fun Questionnaires."
Enjoy!

Just wondering, can we request an extra ticket for the graduation?
