From what I've read P-Days are usually about a week but our guys and gals spent longer because of the holiday stand-down, about two weeks.

When my SR talked with his parents on Christmas Eve he said that Div 086 was starting training on either Tuesday or Weds. I believe Exxie said that Div 805 started on Wednesday (correct me if I'm wrong someone!)

Are the P days a whole week?

Comment by MountainMama(ship3 div081) on December 31, 2010 at 6:42pm
Oh ok.  That gives me a general idea of where he is then.  He is probably through with week one and at the beginning of week two.  I found an article on the internet that tells what their weekly training is, generally speaking.  I'll see if I can find it again and post the link.

So, to be clear, we think it started on Monday the 27th?

I am in agreement w/Arianna....I think John had said that the processing took longer than anticipated? Christmas was just spent exercising, and a real good meal. He also said they are roused by 5:45 am and there's alot of "in your face" but he expected that. He sounds good, homesick, but good. It was just so good to hear his voice.

My boyfriend said this is technically the beginning this week. Like they just started PT. He left on the 14th as well. Hes still graduating on 2/18 though. Because of Christmas, a lot of the RDC's were off, though now the processing is done, and the training is beginning.

Question for all you who have gotten letters/phone calls...did anyone say what day of training they are on or when they actually got started?  My son left on the 14th and I am so curious as to where he is in his training.

I GOT A PHONE CALL!! My boyfriend called today! What a perfect ending to the year. It was the greatest call I ever got! I love you SR Reid. No letters today but the phone made it the best new years eve ever.

See they are helping then... got your mind off the fact you hadn't got a letter from your boy. LOL I am just reading these and laughing right along with all of you so I too thank you for the comic relief!!! A great bunch of ladies!!!!
