Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

@ Nancy - yes, you can rent a storage locker just off base. If you email them they'll send a card good for $10 off a month. Look around the boot camp mom's site..I just got home from work after talking to my SAILOR for 40 min at work, and the troops here are starving!  lol  I think it's Lock & Go or similar...google it

usapaula -- my son was excited about pizza, too!  He said div 913 got the highest score in battlestations!  woo hoo Then he said they got 'beat' cause they were falling asleep afterward!  We got to talk about 45 minutes, and then he got off cause he said he didn't want to miss the pizza.  Congratulations to everyone's sailor!!!

Okay. SO my brother is ganna stay in Great Lakes for A school.

ANd he asked me to take him some clothes

would he even have permission to keep em there.?

 Cause if not i dont even want to take em for nothing. THat way the extra room

in my bag i can use it for my stuff:) haha

He has a couple of sweaters a jacket like three pair of jeans and

some tshirts he wanted, And his hats.  Please let me know if anyone knows. THANKS

Sorry ladies, got my call with my girl earlier this evening,,,,,,,,,,,,,I have a Sailor!!!!! The call was for 35 minutes, she sounds tired but great!!! Can't wait for long soak bath and pedicure!!!
