For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No word here from 086 today. I was told in a letter and phone call they would go tonight and the call would be on the 15th around 2pm.

The consensus is that Div 85/86 went through together and we should be getting calls today. And the last of the Div 805/913 will be going through now. But we all know how the Navy can be and things change at a moments notice. I still pray they went through and all is well. Just haven't been able to make calls home yet. The anxiety of it all. And this is nothing for what they had to go through. I am trying to stay calm. I don't want to have a break down when I answer the phone. I already had a couple nightmares!!! He forgot to order pictures, he didn't pass BS21, they are holding him back... OMG!!! This mom's can't take that. LOL They were only dreams.. excuse me NIGHTMARES!!! I can see him trying to pull a stunt like that too though. His dad will hurt him if he makes me cry. LOL

OMG!!! im so happy for everyone that has gotten the call...and so anxious for the ones that are waiting by the phone...The call will come!!!! okay so DIV 805 will go tonight with what other ones...is this the last of them? Good luck for all going into BS21!!!

Nope... nothing... notta... Poeple need to stop texting me though. Every time my phone vibrates I get chills and it's not him. UGH!!! I know we will get the call soon. Keep posting on here so I can have an idea when and if we will get a call tonight.

apparently Bruce is a fave for the RDCs for watch- he had watch Sat night, up at 6am, Battlestations last night, and watch again tonight! Good news is he wont have watch during PIR weekend until Monday, and we will already be gone.

Ok, that makes sense, I thought that was way too long. He did say that it was very real and quite incredible. I hope those that went through it get some sleep tonight too. Thanks!
