Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just got the phone call!!! He's a SAILOR!! Said they had been doing IT since
BS was over. He said he was about to pass out he was so tired, but said
BS went well. Said he gets to go to bed at 8 p.m. tonight and sleep until
6 a.m. in the morning.....Said he got his orders and he got the job he wanted.

OMG!!! I laughed so hard!...he told me about a story that he was stuck in dental for 10 hrs....couple weeks later..he got busted by an rdc that went thru his study guide that he had with him at dental..he doodeled in it..stick people with anvils dropping on there heads...he got beat for that...but anyway....he was up for 24 hrs b4 battelstations started...he's proud and tired, hungry, wont get to sleep until 10pm tonight... said he has a long boring 6 days ahead of them...6 days!!!.WHOOT WHOOT!!!!
