DIANNE P,  thank you for helping us here. My son did not know where I got info of what they were doing inside BC. My husband was  surprised at the MEET & GREET ! He himself meet new friends at the event. We end up having lunch after the PIR. Visiting each other at the hotels we were staying.

Lala , ribbon queen THANK YOU ! I , my husband and my daughter were asked where we get the ribbons!

Thanks to Navy for moms ! I met some parents of sailors at the hotel we were staying, they don't know about this N4m's and how we give each other support.

It was wonderful to speak with some of you at the Meet 'n Greet. It is so awesome of the owner of the Ramada Inn to host this event week after week.

When you are back home, please take the time to go to the PIR Reference Information Group and add new information to the appropriate discussion. When I get home, I will add some things. It's amazing all that I've learned from those who have shared their experiences. My SA said, "You know more than me, Mom." It's all thanks to all of you.

Take care. Have safe trip home.

Yesterday was amazing!!! :) My husband had to go back at 6:00pm, but the time I got to spend with him was great. He's in SC now, and I can't wait for him to come back and get me!!! :)

PIR was amazing! I had a great time meeting some of you at the meet & greet Sarge is such a nice guy. I highly recommend him. I enjoyed my very short time with my son. It was heart breaking dropping him off last night and is home sick too. :( which makes it even harder. I had to smile through my tears last night when he got close to the gate he fell into his Navy walk and pivoted on his heal as he turned into the gate. It was nice to have the support of some Navy mom's last night at the bar. I can't express enough how this group has helped me make it through all of this. Thank you!

WOW!!!! what an amazing day!!!! PIR was surreal!!!  I have to say today was one of the Proudest days of my life. ALL of our Sailors did an amazing job and have so much to be proud of. HUGGING my son was the best feeling in the world. Thanks to several sailors who had room on their lists we were able to bring 21 family and friends to the PIR. afterward we went to the hotel for a party. I had been cooking for 2 days prior, we had a big buffet of all my Sailors favorite foods.Everyone had a great time, it was so relaxing to sit around as a family and listen to my sons BC stories. The meet and greet was awesome, it was so great to meet many of my new Navy friends. Enjoy the weekend with your Sailor!!!!!!!!!!!thank you Navy for Mom's I owe you a debt of Gratitude, for getting me through the last 8 weeks. ON WARD to a new adventure!!!!!!!

My son got overnight liberty. He wanted to go swimming at the hotel, take a shower by hisself and just hang out in the room. Can't say enough good about SARGE the taxi driver! He has been awesome. Even took us by the AT&A store so my son could get a new phone.
