Does anyone have ideas of where to take our "guys" out for steaks close to Great lakes training center - so they won't be late checking back in after PIR? (Somewhere we also read on line about an outdoor hot dog vendor - that was Navy in the past...here in the area?) Ideas???

Make sure youieat tomorrow morning & have coffee if that's your normal routine. Also tuck a bottle of water in your purse or buy one once you are inside the great hall. I didn't because I was determined to get there early, but between the lack of sleep/ food /coffee, stress, excitement & happy tears etc I had a splitting headache most of the day. It was still WONDERFUL, but afterwards I realized if I had attended to my physical needs better I would have been spared some of the discomfort. Take it for what it's worth, but I'm hoping you all have an amazing time with your SAILORS!
