Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Comment by rivergal on March 9, 2011 at 12:16am: My son changed divisions due to being in medical, now he is graduating this Friday with a new division and I do not have a password to get in the gate and the hotel I am staying at does not have shuttle service to the base. My son told me he would be able to call me again before Friday but I have no word from him yet.

Comment by diannep on March 9, 2011 at 12:06am: Most of the sailors will be giving you all the piks after PIR if they didn't mail them. I believe for those who haven't paid yet, you pay in the NEX after PIR.

Comment by diannep on March 9, 2011 at 12:05am: Hannah. If an SR didn't pass in the past 2 nights, he/she would go through again in the Thurs night BattleStations (with PIR 3/18 group). Then be at PIR, in the bleachers, in uniform...a sailor but too tired to march.

Comment by diannep on March 9, 2011 at 12:00am: rivergal: Password is in the form letter from the Navy with your son's handwriting...you should have received this shortly after he arrived there.

If you don't have it, you can take the shuttle to PIR and not need the pass. You will then need to drop your sailor back off at the front gate after liberty as you probably will not be allowed on base without it.
