Rymans mom, they have parking that is closer for those with handicap parking sticker and you probably could even pull over and get them out by the door of the building where you check in. They do have an area in front of each division for wheelchairs. It is quite a walk from the first building to the PIR hall. . And as far as taking extra guests I would. There is no one you can call to get extra guests in but they always have room for extras. We had 13 divisions in July and all the extra guest got in. We took 4 extra and they didn't even have to wait. I have been here since April and I have never heard of anyone who wasn't able to get in.

Hi Mollie -- I did get the form letter today but it could be because I live in Illinois. My son left for BC on the 11th and arrived on the 12th. There is a section at the bottom where they can write a short note and he sounds like he's doing okay.

I bet yours will arrive tomorrow or the next day at the latest. You know it's en route at any rate :)

have more questions about PIR , and you ladies have all the answers.... my parents are going but both are handicap and have trouble standing to long and walking, how do i make special arrangments for them? and i am guessing there is not asigned seating, so is it first come first serve...or first seat i should say?and if i want to try and bring 2 extra persons shouls i contact ahead of time, or do i just show up with more and take a chance they can get in.

Alison Sailor Mom, my son is in the same division. I haven't received the letter yet but his recruiter gave me the information. When did your son arrive in GL?

Maryl59, My son left the 11th. I have not received the letter either but our recruiter was able to give me my son's ship and division number. Graduation dates are posted by division on the Recruit Training Command website.
