The letters are not in the boxes...they come separately.  Usually very close to the time of the box, within the next week.

My box just came this morning;  there is no letter in there, but I am assuming he will be graduating with this group; at least that's another questions almost solved!

Thanks waitinonmysailor.  The Public affairs office just called me with same info. I wonder if they told recruits.

lol they probably feel a little concussed at this point, after not know when their sailor will have PIR.

Jean, I answered you on 3/4.  I think you thought that 914-916 meant 2 divisions...but it actually meant 914, 915, 916, so there are actually 7 divisions in there.  I changed that up top on that page because I know it was confusing.  Did you leave a message for the PAO today?  If so, if you don't hear back by the morning, I would call again.  Post what you find out because you aren't the only one in this perdicament.  Also, lets check the RTC site in the morning and see if they add any divisions in 3/4.  Can't imagine they would but you never know!

My Fiancee has been gone a week already, but I have yet to get his address, and his parents haven't gotten his box as far as I know. It doesn't help that his parents are in Michigan at the moment, and I'm in Texas until next week. I wish I knew if the stuff had gotten to their house yet! I wont' find that out until Tuesday night or on Wednesday. I really hope I get the address from his recruiter tomorrow. I've got so many letters I want to start sending already! I miss him so much, but it's already been one week and I know the others will be over before I know it. Or so I'm told... lol

I have no idea if this will be my sons correct grad date.  He just left last week.  I have to go in for surgery in the morning....He probably shipped his box to his GF instead of home and do they even get a call when they arrive...if so, he called her.  I'm a mess.  I know I can get an address from the recruiter tomorrow...but I prob won't be able to call till Wed.  Don't know what to expect.

She is a very sweet young lady. And she has always done a lot for her community. When she was 12 she made Christmas stockings and collected gifts and candy for every child in our county who was in protective custody during Christmas time. She has been looking for something to do near her base. This will be the first year since she was 2 yrs old that she has not cheered for a team. But she just found a cheer gym near her base that offers cheerleading and gymnastics to handicapped kids so she is going to volunteer there as an assistant coach :) She is so excited.

My son left me a short video message on a DVD, but I'm afraid to watch it. I'm pretty sure I'll fall apart. Still no box! Lora, What a sweet message from your daughter!

Does anyone have a SR assigned to Ship 12 Div 98?
