Valarie:  RTC said they had mistakenly deleted the RTC 3/11 date w/gate pass earlier today, but they have added it back now.

Check out Recruit Training Command on Facebook for PIR photos.  I believe that they have 3/4's posted there.

Congrats and a Bravo Zulu to Divisions 97, 98, 99, and 100 US Navy Sailors!

Hannah: They can get held back if they don't pass their final PFA...they are given more chances to pass and then go through BattleStations.  If they have already passed the PFA, then BattleStatiions is the only thing they have to pass to become a sailor.

Can they get held back to go with another division for reasons other than failing bs once?

Ladies and Gentlemen!!  Congrats!!! A week ago I was in your shoes, waiting on my battle stations call.  Calls started during our divisions after 3pm central.  Our meet and greet at the Ramada was great, and I have left a few things there for the owner Paul to pass along to you guys...some stuff I had gathered up to give to my families in the 3/4/11 pir.  Have fun and enjoy each other!!!  the PIR itself is awesome.  Get there early and get your seat where you want to be, it should be marked approximately where your division will be.  No cameras outside the hall.  Then take your Sailor and have fun.  please, dont be upset if they seem reserved, they have had to be reserved for 8 weeks, and its hard for them to let down in that first little bit of time.  Our PIR sadly had alot of our new Sailors leave the next morning so our visits were short.  I pray that you dont have the same..but if you do, you can meet them at the airport and take a plain black backpack with their computer and cell phone in it (and other goodies)  They are free at that point..I packed my son some "real underwear and socks"..lol  for those of you with sailors in a performing division, you might want to check out the pics some of us took last friday to catch a glimpse of your sailor.  get ready to feel the warmest fuzziest feeling in your heart as you see your sailor...and wait for the minute you can hug them.  As soon as liberty is called, get up and go get em.  Eat some Chicago deep dish pizza!! I had never had any and it rocks.  I wasn't impressed with the area, but..I wasn't there for the area...i was there for my son.  And yes, call Sarge if you need help in getting around.  If he can help you he has contacts to help you.  Need any information, you can message me.  Much love ya'll.
