Calmseas, there are 2 groups. The first is http://www.navyformoms.com/group/Aschoolsailors (Moms of "A" school Sailors) .

The second is http://www.navyformoms.com/group/askthesdc (Great Lakes A School Q&A).

You can find those in the "Groups" button if my links don't work. My son is there at A School in GL and is currently on hold. Meaning he has no class as they are either: A) full and don't have room for everyone or B) don't have enough people to start a class. At this time he doesn't know how long it will be before class starts for him. But, he's sick right now, and still not doing well, he's going back to see the doctor on Monday, so I don't know if he's keeping the facts straight or remembered it all since he's not feeling well.

Ky's mom, you are in thoughts and prayers. I didn't want to post this with my other post, and then before I did, I got sidetracked and didn't get back till now.

Is there a group or a place to ask questions about our sailors, and "A" School in GL?  Just wondering if any other Mom's have questions about their Sailors "job" status or school status...  I'm confused as usual, and need some answers...  Thank you!

Ky's my hearts and prayers are with you, lost my sister almost 2 years ago now (April 7) and it still hurts some days she was 36.  I hope you find some peace and again you will be in my prayers.

Updated info on ordering the dvd of 3/11/11 PIR.

If you didn't order one, call the Photo NEX. They will be able to email you the form that you can print out and mail in. Angie, who I spoke to initially, was very helpful. She said they can not accept info over the phone or by fax. She said that there are limited quantities of the dvd left. They are $29 which includes shipping. You can pay by either money order or credit card. Address of where to mail it is on the form.

So keeping my fingers crossed that they get my form before the dvds are all gone.

Thank you everyone for the help with the phone number on who to call, etc.
