For those who want to continue writing to the very end of bootcamp, please copy those letters and bring with you to PIR to give to your sailor in case they weren't received.  They say they are "forwarded" to A School, but I know some who never got them.

Proud of my Sailor:  We stayed in a 2-bedroom at Residence.  It was very nice and spacious.  You'll enjoy it!  Pets are allowed too!  Don't forget the free hot breakfast buffet in the lobby each morning!

Everything I have read points to walking type comfortable & in our case. warm. Thinking on black jeans and the warm flat boots that I ordered; hoping they get here in time :~)

Definitely need to be warm...is suppose to be around 37 degrees when we arrive (GL) on March 9.  We live in AZ is suppose to be 73 degrees when we leave here.  Huge difference.

I thought about a dress but I have been trying to find a way out of wearing it. Now I will feel more comfortable wearing jeans knowing someone else will be wearing them too:)

                        Happy 3rd Birthday!

                                    &

                             Thank You

This is such a great site! I know my work, friends, clients and yes, even family are so tired of hearing - well, partially listening to the "blah blah"

We are all here together with the insight and help from N4M's I think we all feel a little better to connect and share about this experience.

Same boat so to speak -  HooYah!

I'm just going to keep sending letters. I just drop him a note a day, some small anecdote, etc. If he graduates before the letters arrive they'll forward them to their next duty station.
