Thanks so much everyone for all the awesome comments on the ribbons. I put a lot of pride into my work :-) And I know you will wear them proudly. Hunter's mom, YES you and anyone else can still order ribbons.  Just get the order to me asap, I wouldn't want you to have to pay for express shipping :-) I had a very busy ribbon making day today. I had to stay away from the computer in order to finish lol. And I think that older man at the post office dreads seeing me come in. I seem to always get there right before they close and I am sure he is ready to lock that door and turn out the lights when he sees me coming lol.

Hi Felicia, no letter today.  But this is a big week for our boys...I printed the gate passes.  Did you hear anything?  Glad you received your ribbons.  They are so nice.  Can't wait to wear them.

paybacks:  Yes, that is a different situation.  When they change their PIR date, then they will give you the new password for that PIR date.  I had that too...but they made me give the old password before they would give me the new one.

Several have called the PAO in the past for the original password for their group and have been told to ask the recruit.

AnthonysMom:  Actually, if you take the shuttle, you won't need the gate pass...just all of the ID stuff.  But if you drive your sailor back after liberty, you will not be allowed on base without the gate pass....you will have to drop him at the gate which is a longer walk for him.  I kept the gate pass with me, even though I took the shuttle to PIR.

Looking forward to meeting all the others at the reception at the Ramada Inn. Getting everything in order. SR's phone, ipod is recharged and full of his tunes. & Wow - Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons we got our ribbons today and they are absolutely gorgeous!  Classy and not too fluffy or what grandma would wear. We can order more for extended family right? Just makes us that much more excited! My sister in law is just raving and going to start wearing hers to work to show support for her fav nephew. Lol

Now, please let there be a letter waiting from my SR today after work... No news is good news but come on - nothing since 2/17? redfly, have you heard anything?

Lala, Taking your advice on the Shuttle from the Ramada too.
