Hi all!  I thought this might be a good way for us to connect!  So took the advice of some other moms.  Hopefully we can get information on when we start receiving calls and letters and other info!

YMM - you're welcome! I was so surprised to hear from him again so quickly, he's not really the best letter writer, and I got 3 in one week, after getting only a couple the whole time before that! But I'm not complaining. Hopefully in his case, no news was good news. But I'm going to be checking my phone obsessively pretty much all next week waiting for THE PHONE CALL after Battlestations! (and for the power above...no OTHER phone call please, thanks be.) If you all could pray for the running part of the Personal Fitness Assessment...that'd be great, yes I know he may have already passed it, but I won't know for a while and might as well cover the bases if you know what I mean! Thanks ALL!

MJ, It is so awesome that you are heading to RTC to support Div 94. I only wish you were there to support Div 98, too. LOL!

Mayflower, Our SR's are in brother divisions, which I think means they do many of their training together. Thank you for sharing this information.

I got a letter yesterday...it was a questionnaire I sent a while ago. Although since it's so late in their BC most of the answers were "yes, they've done this or that". They had their pictures taken, both individual and division. When you see the pics, remember to ask about the ribbons or medals they have. My SR was very proud of them. They have to EARN them to WEAR them. He said they got to go to the NEX, and was happy about that. He said they'd gone to the Marlinspike, which is a scaled-down model of a ship for them to train on various jobs, he loved that. He also said they've taken 1 or 2 swimming tests, and that they were easier than he expected (though I suspect, they were really easier than some of the other things they've had to do...). So far the only thing he's struggling with is the Personal Fitness Assessment - particularly the running. Though, he did say that he has more confidence about it now, and I'm sure they will make every effort to give him the opportunity to accomplish it before Battlestations (next Tues and Wed??). That's what I heard from my SR about our Div. Hope you all are getting letters too! Has anyone gotten Calls? I've only gotten 1.

MJ - another fine person and we thank you!

I started that group ANSWER - to write SR's. I read all the rules and think that it encompasses them all and a tad bit extra careful. Please feel free to link it to anyone who know of an SR not getting mail or very little in any PIR week or BC stage.

We have our first SR to write!
