RDC duty is tough on those guys, but they're the best in the fleet.

Very good men teaching our boys to be men.

I just want to give a Big shout out to the RDCs who have trained our kids!! Without them our kids would not have made it so far. Sometimes we get so wrapped up on the prize at the end we forget to thank the ones who help us get there. So THANK YOU RDCs!!

Hey Zachs Mom - My son got very ill too - between having a cold, the shots and the gas chamber - apparently it wasn't a good mixture. My recruiter said sometimes they get sick and that's another reason for not get heart set on grad date - but all is well and he's graduating!! Cannot beleive just a few more days!!

My son said he was really sick as well. Fever and all, he said :( He is not a "sicky" kid either, so I'm sure he didn't like that at all. Wonder if he had pink eye? He is DIV 161 though. Seems like alot of kids get really sick at bootcamp. It must be like a "petrie dish" there. (Poor kids)

jentkd Your son sounds awesome. Carolina I hope you hear something soon. My son had pinkeye also. He said he was on light duty for a couple of days and is better now.
Love that countdown clock. See you ladies in a couple of days.

Colleen ~ yes, Div 922 all passed. He mentioned that they gave them 60 min. to call and get stuff they needed from NEX .... like ribbons for their uniform and whatever. He got his stuff and then called me a guy came by yelling "Because I am a great MoFo!!! I'm giving you all 30 more min." Probably cause they did so well.

FaithNJmom ~ That would be cool. My son really likes his division. I just can't get over how grown up he sounds.

Sitting here watching PIR videos on you tube, thinking of our kids at Battlestations tonight, lifting them up in my prayers. What an experience for all of us. Kids and parents! I'm trying to desensitize myself with the PIR videos so maybe Friday I will just cry quietly, and not sob loudly! lol

Zacsmom88- I know what you mean. I felt that way all day at work. It was pretty busy so the time passed quickly. Good Luck! Eventhough they sound exhausted you can hear the pride and relief in their voice. It's the best call ! We are all sending positive thoughts your way.
