Ramona, this is what I have heard. I am thinking about calling public affairs tomorrow and asking. They will either tell me or say that they don't know yet i guess. No harm in asking.

Ramona, my daughter is in the same ship and division as your son. We booked four nights also and are praying that she is NOT GnG.

Thanks for the info. I am starting to understand what we can expect. I do not understand all the Navy lingo yet, but I am learning quickly. I can't wait for the graduation package! I was looking forward to spending a little bit of time with him. Ramona

Hi,
What is A-school? My son is on ship 06 div 923. I know he is going to school after GL to Charleston, South Carolina. Do I understand it right that he will probably not get liberty for the entire weekend? That he will be flying out the next day? We are driving from Pennsylvania and I have booked 4 nights at Ramada Inn in Waukegan. I was hoping to see some sights in Chicago.

Hi Janiece! I received my box Thursday and Nick's pants were rolled up.....just thought he might be making a "fashion statement", just kidding. It also looked like he changed in his box too. :) The "official" letter got here today. I am feeling so much better since I opened it and read the last 3 lines. I am so excited about graduation on April 23!!!!!!

Hello All,
Was reading through all the comments in this group and didn't see anyone in Ship 10 Division 167. Our son Chase is in this unit. We received our box today but am sad to report that his pants wasn't rolled up. In fact, it was if he changed in the box and threw everything down. Pants, tee-shirt, socks, boxers, shoes was all piled inside the box with copies of all the processing paperwork he took to MEPS when sworn in. I was so excited when I seen a letter from him but when I opened it, it was the "official" form letter with fill in the blanks letter from the Navy. I got to the last page of it and there were 3 dedicated lines for your son/dau to write something to us. It was so typical of Chase...Hey parents, I'm doing great. Can't wait to see you. Love ya I'm assuming he didn't have anytime to write much. Oh well, at least it was something huh? Would love to hear from you all. Have a great night! Hugs....Janiece/Utah
