This comment is tho JULI. Your son can do school. I did four years in the Army and went to school. It's hard but it is possible. They have TA (tuition Asistance which means the cover the cost of courses. This doesnt take money from the GI Bill. I am still enrolled in school at the university of maryland. They have it completely online which is neat cause you can do it where ever. I did school while in Iraq. I went out did mission then came back and did school

Juli, when Scarlett first signed up as a DEPper her rate was GSE. When she got home we read the info sheet and were shocked because the job didn't fit her at all. She said she felt rushed by the recruiter at MEPS. We didn't know we could have gone with her because she is 22 and wish we had. After talking it over with us, she told her recruiter that she needed to change rates. She ended up taking YN.

Juli I'm so sorry about your son not getting what he signed up for. I was worried when my son signed up for the Navy because I heard they do that kind of thing. You have more right then I to be angry. I guess I should just count my blessings. Deanna is right. God does everything for a reason. Time will tell why your son is on the path he is on.
Thinking about all the wonderful calls coming today!!!!
