my grandson is home on leave right now but doesn't say much about it. He was in Gl and they had issues there as well. Very SAD.

I am so sad...............................Does anyone know if these sailors were in the 4/23 graduating class? My sailors has not said a word to me. Not sure I should ask him if he knows. He is in Pencacola.

They do have the chaplan to talk to and I would suppose that if he felt there was a farther need he would suggest heavily to their commanding officer. My son is still in GL and said that they are not to talk about it...but hypothetically some bed sheets were used for the sailor to take his own life.

I know we all share such sadness for these families. I was awake all night with prayers for them. Can't imagine. On the GL Q & A group there is an address for one of the families. They have asked for donations to the USO @ LAX in his honor. They are from Redondo Beach, California. The Dad was on this site and posted. Navy for Dads I think. Thank you all for continuing to share this journey. I miss you all. Best to all your sailors in their new ventures.

Tony said the ceremony was very moving, of course.

Renee--yes :-( Tony gave me a lot of details on the girl from last week--very sad--man--I can't shake it even. I just wanted to know if there was some memorial thing the moms could do for her family etc..i guess not because it is such a private thing. I am just heavy in my heart for them all.

Hi Friends! I was wondering if anyone had any news about the girl who took her own life at GL A school (HM) last week? I would like to send her family some cards and such and did not know....well..is there any place to send cards does anyone know?
