Ramona, I did email all his teachers and he is getting all his work to take on the trip. He won't be thrilled, but Oh well.

Navynana, they can't take ANYTHING back to barracks this weekend that they didn't leave with. However, if they are grad n go to GL /I believe you can give it to him after he moves to A school. Or if he is flying out you can give it to him at the airport.

navynana, They are the same and you can find discussions to your Sailor's A-School. I still depend on the ladies that helped me in the beginning.

On the cell phone. My son was a grad and go so he used it Friday when he was with us and we took it back that night, plus his new laptop that he bought Friday. We charged up both then took them to the airport with us on Saturday morning and he took them on the plane. I heard that after the ones that are staying in GL get checked in school they get to keep them. Just ask your recruit. Never hurts to bring it along because they can use them when they are with you. I took mine to PIR and my first close up of him was with my phone then I sent it out to everyone plus it's there every time I look at my phone.

Maussie,
My girls are middle school and High School. The teachers at their schools are very accomodating. I know my girls are not thrilled about having to do homework on their vacation. Oh Well! That is the way it is. If they don't they would be really far behind the rest of the class.

hey navynana, no...they can't have anything like that right now, you will hve to send it to him later
