Sailor Surprise! It was great. Hadn't seen him since PIR and he walked in yesterday and surprised us. Home on leave. We're so happy to see him. Looks great and doing well. Next, San Diego. Lucky us.

she has an amazing attitude and that will serve her well. It truly is an adventure. We'll all have to face the new challenge when they ship out and we can't see them and sometimes not be able to talk to them either. You must be very proud of her. Wish her all the best and keep us posted. It must be a very interesting place.

She is doing well. She is home on leave now. She got almost three weeks of leave and will be flying out on the 12th. She is actually looking at it as an adventure. Not thrilled about the year away part though.

my error, thanks. Yes, it is San Diego and he's very happy about that. Not sure how long he'll be there. How is your daughter doing? did she get a leave before she shipped out?

Actually it was 5.4, but still unnerving.
California huh? Lucky you. Is it San Diego?

Hi everyone...just wanted to post that my grandson who's been in GL for A school just got his orders and is coming back to California for his first command. We're all so happy he'll be closer to home. Just felt an earthquake......6.9 oh my gosh! Hope all of you and your sailors are well as our world changes once again.

Jaime, the best of luck to you and Manny. I will post when we receive the yearbook. Happy 4th to all.

Hi ladies, just got on and great to see your posts. I called last week and they said the yearbook takes 8 -10 weeks after PIR so it should be soon. Hope all is going well with all of you, your sailors and military life.

Jamie..did you move to GL? Has Manny got his orders? Seems like many of them have them or are expecting them soon.
