So I take it 166 didn't win anything or we would have gotten a phone call. Correct?

maussie, The gate pass won't print from "Internet Explorer". You have to use a different browser. I had the same problem so I called public affairs and thats what they told me to do. I hope that helps. Cheryl

My husband and I took off for the weekend without the kids and grandson and I just got back home. Can't believe how much I missed. CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW SAILORS!!!!!!! I am so excited for you all. Way to go.

Juli, A proud moment Mom!! way to go to your new Sailor.

diannep, You are so right. My son stopped me before I could get my hug and said Mom I am now Navy so let me finish button my coat and then I will hug you. I stood there looking at other moms and thought boy my son now belongs to the Navy. But he still calls me when things bother him. Once a Mom always a Mom

maussie: Can you try printing the pass on another computer?

heartingasailor: When he is out of uniform, anything goes! PIR is considered a "homecoming" where PDA is allowed, so you are ok in the hangar...but control yourself once you walk out of the hangar until you get to some private location! :-) What the sailors are told is that RDC's are out and about too...and will be watching. There are consequences for inappropriate behavior...The sailors get a firm talking to before PIR...my son was petrified to be late coming back to base, and wantied to be sure he had uniform protocol at all times, etc. You Navy wives are going to be challenged, but I know you can do it! :-)

maussie..I just tried to print and had no trouble. Let me know if I can help.

Where do I read the rules regarding Public Displays of Affection? I wasn't planning to unglue myself from my husband all weekend...so..I definitely don't want to get him into trouble. Yikes!

Ok, Moms: Just a word of caution. Sailors are not allowed to show affection in uniform...other than at PIR and when ships come in, etc. BUT, if you knock your child down when they call liberty (and it is a bit like a stampede then!), smother him/her with kisses, and hang all over him/her...don't be surprised if your child goes: MOM! !!! They will love that hug, for sure...but are mindful that they are in uniform and SAILORS! HA! It is a very special moment...when you can hug your child again...for sure. But he/she will look so sharp in that sailor uniform that you will probably just stare at him/her in awe! Enjoy PIR Friday...it will be on your list of best life experiences for sure!

maussie: Try it again tomorrow. I think you are in the time period where you can do download this, but maybe the system is down right now. If so, call the PAO office and tell them the problem. Don't worry...they will make sure you get your pass.

I will gladly walk in his arm--I want to kiss his dimpled face and make him sit on my lap LOLOL funny how we never adjust to the child being an adult!

I can't even get to the password part. All I get is a blank page. And no one else has downloaded it.
