Juli, Good morning. I'm glad you and your husband got a call yesterday. It does just make your whole day, doesn't it?
Scarlett called her sister for the first time, but she missed the call. Man! was she bummed.
Before long everyone of us will be getting the "best" call from our sailors.

margaret I am right there with you. I can hardly wait for that call and hope that it doesn't happen while I am on the plane on Wednesday. See you all on Thursday, excited about that also.

So happy for all of you that have heard good news on your new "Sailors" and/or had phone calls. My son is Div. 167 and it's killing me not hearing anything and knowing they won't do BS21 till Tues. into Wed. I LEAVE Wed. and hope I do not miss his "I am a Sailor" call! Can't wait to see my "Sailor" (which I know he WILL be) and to meet all of you too!

Susie, I know what you mean about sounding grown up. Scarlett seems to have matured so much in these two months.
I'm glad Peter did well on the academic test. Scarlett didn't love high school either. But tests well here. This must be their thing. ;))
No worries. The whole division will rock BS. They are prepared.
My daughter had Skittles. Dr Pepper and Taco Bell. But, I think the phone call was the best reward.
Sleep tight.

Praying for all of the Recruits that still have BS coming up. My son said that it was exhausting, but fun. We got another call from him today...what a shock! I missed it, but he got to talk with his dad for about 20 minutes. He's lost his voice due to all of the hollering they did at BS...lol. Congrats to the Captains Cup winners!! How exciting for your Division!! Yay!! My son said that they enjoyed it. Hope you all have a really good Sunday.....only 5 more days til we ALL get to see our Sailors!!
